Electrical Recycling

Our Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) accept both large and small electrical appliances. Our postcode search feature will allow you to find the closest HWRCs to you and offer further information about what is accepted.

Re-use shop

Items brought to any of the county’s HWRCs that can be reused will be sent to the Katharine House Hospice Re-use Shop at the Cannock HWRC where the items are tested and then sold to the public. This can include:

  • stereos
  • televisions
  • DVD players
  • electric fires
  • kitchen equipment

These are amongst the items which may be available in the Re-use Shop. Any items brought in that are not suitable for reuse will be recycled. For further information on how to donate, recycle or purchase items please visit the adoption appliance website.              .
