Planning service - Coronavirus update
Update 19 July 2021
The planning team are continuing to work from home.
We are continuing to accept the submission of planning applications and details to discharge conditions via the National Planning Portal, or direct to us using our email address below.
Fee payments can also continue to be made via the National Planning Portal. However, due to our current working arrangements we are unable to accept telephone fee payments or cheques. Bank transfer payments can however be made. Please contact us for advice on making a bank transfer payment using our email address below.
In addition, please note the following:
- Planning Committee meetings are no longer being held virtually, albeit that public speakers can attend in that way if requested.
- Where it is safe to do so, we are continuing to visiting sites and carrying out normal publicity arrangements for new applications - for example posting site notices and hand delivering neighbour notification letters or sending them through the post.
- Comments on planning applications can continue to be made via our Citizen Portal.
