Staffordshire Rural Economy Evidence Base
Staffordshire County Council, on behalf of the Staffordshire Rural Forum, commissioned a study to provide evidence on the performance, challenges, barriers and opportunities for economic growth in rural Staffordshire.
The document focuses on the local authority districts and boroughs within Staffordshire which central government (Defra) have identified as being rural. The analysis also includes short profiles of five rural ‘hub towns’, which Defra have identified as being well-placed to provide services to the residents of nearby rural areas.
