Way for the Millennium

There are eight parts to the The Way for the Millennium, which spans the length and width of the County.

Outwoods to Gnosall

Distance: 3.1 miles.

Starting point: From the A518 take the lane signposted to Outwoods. The walk begins via the steps at the side of the bridge.

Facilities: Limited parking south of the railway bridge.

Gnosall to Stafford

Distance: 6.2 miles.

Starting point: Station Road, Gnosall.

Facilities: Car parking and picnic site at Station Road, Haughton. Pubs and shops are available in Haughton.

Stafford to Great Haywood and Shugborough

Distance: 4.9 miles.

Starting point: Stafford Town Centre.

Facilities: Parking, shops, and pubs in Stafford Town Centre.

Great Haywood and Shugborough to Mavesyn Ridware

Distance: 7.7 miles.

Starting point: Bridge 73, Great Haywood.

Facilities: Parking, shops and pubs in Great Haywood. Pubs and a craft shop are available along the route.

Mavesyn Ridware to Pipe Ridware

Distance: 1 mile.

Starting point: Mavesyn Ridware main road junction.

Pipe Ridware to Yoxall

Distance: 3.1 miles.

Starting point: Pipe Ridware Theatre.

Yoxall to Wychnor Bridges

Distance: 3.7 miles.

Starting point: Yoxall.

Wychnor Bridges to Shobnall

Distance: 5.6 miles.

Starting point: Bridge 43 at Wychnor Bridges.
