Proposed increase in accommodation at Nether Stowe School and Enlargement of King Edward VI School
There are two public consultations which are now taking place in respect of increasing secondary school places in Lichfield. Two projects are proposed to deliver additional school places for September 2019:
to increase the accommodation at Nether Stowe School, Lichfield to provide sufficient capacity for its published admissions number (PAN) of 170.
to enlarge King Edward VI School, Lichfield by 1 Form Entry (FE), totalling 180 Year 7 to Year 11 places utilising the former leisure centre building.

Proposed Enlargement of St Stephen’s Primary School, Fradley, Lichfield
It is proposed to enlarge St Stephen’s Primary School, a community school, by increasing the current capacity of the school from 315 to a proposed capacity of 420. The Published Admission Number (PAN) for Reception places will increase from 45 to 60.

At their meeting on the 18th April 2018 the County Council's Cabinet considered all comments and resolved to approve the implementation of the proposed enlargement of St Stephen's.
