A New Primary School for Lichfield

A new primary school with nursery provision will open at Streethay, East Lichfield in September 2019.

The Department for Education has recently announced the school will be managed by Shaw Education Trust who were the successful applicants in the recent Free School Presumption Process.

The Trust have advised Staffordshire County Council that initially the school will accommodate pupils into Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and will then grow year on year with each new Reception intake until it will eventually operate with classes from Nursery up to Year 6.

The school is being delivered by Seddons on behalf of Miller Homes to provide much needed primary school provision for children that will be generated from the new housing development where the new school will be situated.

More information about Shaw Education Trust can be found on their website: www.shaw-education.org.uk
