Education and Skills Strategy

Across Staffordshire, we have been working with partners and education settings to develop Staffordshire's "Education and Skills Strategy: A Partnership Framework for Staffordshire".

In late 2018, we publicly consulted on a draft “Education and Skills Strategy" and received over 100 responses to the consultation. The responses showed overwhelming support to the vision and principles of the partnership framework and to the establishment of a strategic group. There were also issues raised as to the membership of the group and how we will measure the impact of the strategy.

This strategy has been developed by a reference group of local education providers and partners, convened county council officers. Following consultation changes have been made to the strategy to reflect the consultation feedback.

You can now view the final version of the PDF Document Education and Skills Strategy: A Partnership Framework for Staffordshire (533 KB).

We will be officially launching the new strategy on 1st April 2019.

The aspiration of all is that the final strategy gains widespread backing and shared ownership from education providers, partners and stakeholders from across the county and beyond.
