The purpose of the scheme is to put in place a mechanism by which the most appropriate support is delivered to families that fall within the scope of the Department for Communities and Local Government's (DCLG) Troubled Families Programme.
A 'Troubled Family' is defined by the DCLG as individuals who are experiencing a range of difficulties who share an address. ‘The DCLG has identified 4,680 households within Staffordshire that are suitable for the programme over the next five years.’
Please note: Statistical information about the families engaged in the programme will be shared with relevant partners, but personal information will not. This reflects our responsibility to our families and the Data Protection Act (1998).
