Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Watling North electoral division in May 2017.  

My division lies in the south of Tamworth and includes part of the ward of Belgrave, Castle, Wilnecote and Trinity and covers approximately 394 hectares with a population of 12,367.

£500.00: Funding of electrical point work, HDMI TV, cables and wall bracket, tables, chairs and 2 sofas for the Prince’s Trust Team programme To be delivered from Tamworth Belgrave Community Fire Station to support 16-25 years old over 60 days to help them back into education, employment or training.

Xtra Humongous Ltd

£1,000.00: Funding towards orchestra and support acts and compere, insurance, sound, light, audio visual, advertising, posters, banners, photography and video as part of the Musical Proms event by St. Editha's Church to commemorate the centenary of the ending of WW1 and celebrate womens' empowerment.

Tamworth District Scouts £400.00: Funding twoards the improvements to the building extension, current premises, and car parking in providing more spaces for the District Activity Centre for scouting and the wider community including various groups to include NHS, charities for adults with learning difficulties, national citizens scheme, arts group, fitness classes.
Belgrave Buttercups Parent and Toddler Group £200.00: Funding to enable pre-school age children, parents/carers to visit Ash End Farm to engage with farm animals in a safe environment and experience the sights and sounds of the farm.

Tamworth and Lichfield Sea Cadets

£330.00: Funding towards 10 wetsuits for adults and cadets and 4 new PCs for the use of all the administrators and cadets to plan sessions and work towards promotions.

Park Farm Social Group £300.00: Funding towards a day trip to Weston Super Mare for senior citizens who feel isolaed in the community in promoting their health and wellbeing.

The Tamworth and District Civic Society

£500.00: Funding towards production of tickets, order of service, seat markers, banners, postage, hire of toilets, banners, catering, hire of bugler, soloist, choir photographer, marshalls for a National Service of Commemoration for the 1100th Anniversary of the Death of Aethelflaed Lady of the Mercians to be held at St Editha's Parish and Collegiate Church Tamworth on 12 June 2018

Two Rivers School £400.00: Funding towards a Play scheme for two weeks held for pupils with complex learning difficulties held at the school with trained staff to deliver the scheme safely to include meeting any health or care needs of the children providing respite for families of vulnerable children and is a stimulating two weeks of activities using school's resources.

Total Arts Community Theatre and IMPACT Youth Theatre

£300.00: Funding towards a Metal Storage con.tainer to hold all the props and costumes made by the group.

Wilnecote Sports and Recreational Association £1,000.00: Funding towards building costs for a purpose built brick garage to store grass cutting equipment and cricket kits for junior players in promoting sport and healthy lifestyles.

Tamworth Round Table

£500.00: Funding towards the rebuild of sleigh and replace the trailer to be used for a Sleigh appeal each evening in December within Tamworth to raise funds for the community groups for community events.

Tamworth Have a Heath

£1,520.00: Funding towards a defibrillator with security cabinet and installation costs to benefit the community.
