I was first elected as County Councillor for the Caverswall electoral division in May 2017. 

My division lies in the south west of Staffordshire Moorlands and includes the wards of Caverswall, Cellarhead, Forsbrook and Werrington and covers approximately 3491 hectares with a population of 13,036.

Special Responsibilities

I was Vice-Chairman of Healthy Staffordshire Select Committee until May 2018. I was appointed as Cabinet Community Support Member for Staffordshire Moorlands in May 2018.

£400.00: Funding towards the purchase of a Marquee, to hold the annual fun day.

Blythe Bridge, Forsbrook and Dilhorne Historical Society

£500.00: Funding towards printing costs of the volume of the History of 5th BT North Staffordshire Regiment, publishing of final copy, binding, stitching, CD/USB stick to accompany the volume for public use, handover of the volume to the Leader of SCC for reference at William Salt Library.

Forsbrook District Rainbows

£500.00: Funding towards food and drink, outside events such as cinema, play areas, wildlife park trips to promote teamwork and communication skills.

Caverswall Historical Society

£500.00: Funding towards Flags and Display materials, Floral Displays, Hire of Hall, Transport of pupils and staff, printing of orders of service and Publicity and Promotional Materials for events commemorating the impact of WW1 on the villages.

Friends of Forsbrook Alzheimers Social Friendship Group

£1,000.00: Funding towards Artist, Musician keyboard player, Flower Demonstration, Robert Burton Sing Along, Local Schools Choir, Room Hire and Coach hire for two trips.

Foxfield Miniature Railway

£1,600.00: Funding towards a station platform, engine shed facilities and improved signage of site to meet demands of growing customers.

Werrington Wasps

£2,000.00: Funding towards new sports equipment for the children teams and help to improve the drainage around the site to enable them to play all year round.
