I was first elected as County Councillor for the Burton Town electoral division on 16 May 2011.  

My division lies in the south east of East Staffordshire and includes the wards of Burton, Eton Park and Shobnall and covers approximately 1044 hectares with a population of 15,456.

£805.00: Funding of fit watches for 30 attendees and positive parenting books.  Twinki1 subscription, art resources, baking ingredients, yoga mats, refreshments and oils, for sessions and activities to include Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, circuit training, walking, first aid training, diet, nutrition, massage and relaxation and to help parents through parental engagement and attainment for learning and activities.

Burton Albion Community Trust

£450.00: Funding towards room hire, marketing and promotiona leaflets for the launch of the 1950's club as part of the sporting memories for those aged over 55.

Grange School

£666.00: Funding towards two visits and workshops at Tamworth Castle and Sudbury Hall to enable the children to have some hand's on historical experience to help with curriculum topic of Towers, Tunnels and Turrets.

9th Burton Scout Group

£479.95: Funding towards the purchase of two new eight man tents, picknicking equipment, a new gas stove and altar fire.

Burton Caribbean Association

£400.00: Funding towards bouncy castles, bungee run, pugil sticks, artists, DJ, magician and security for the free family fund day.

Burton Town Football Club

£727.50: Funding towards full football kit, player bags, first aid kits, goal nets and footballs to provide for the local youth at league level and development of the team to midlands regional alliance league building positive direction in life and healthier and fitness to build safer communities.

Transforming Communities Together

£1,000.00: Funding towards sessional work to identify and open at least three additional Places of Welcome, one in Uttoxeter, Two in Burton and on-going support for Place of Welcome Co-ordinators who work with neighbourhoods to help them feel safer, happier and more supported in their community.

£1,500.00: Funding to purchase ten ACER Chromebook R 13 CB5-312T 2 in 1.64 GB, to upgrade the existing IT hub that helps people to search for job's, create CV's or search for advice and guidance.

Lansdowne School De Ferrers Trust Academy

£438.55: Funding to purchase a stage with a chalkboard for the nursery playground to encourage the children to express themselves through acting, singing and entertaining their peers and teachers.

Brightfutures UN-Ltd

£300.00: Funding for the delivery of coaching mentoring programme designed for groups of children identified by the schools aged 7 - 11 years for three sessions covering social skills, emotional resilience, anger management, health and lifestyle bullying, anxiety and low self-esteem and problem solving in a relaxed and fun way to learn.

Harvey Girls

£233.00: Funding to purchase IT equipment that can be used within the family home and across locations to ensure consistent support for families.
