Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Dove electoral division in May 2017.  

My division lies in the south east of East Staffordshire and includes the wards of Anslow, Tutbury and Outwoods and Rolleston on Dove and parts of the wards of Crown (Hanbury parish), Branston and Horninglow.and covers approximately 5144 hectares with a population of 13,876.

I was Cabinet Support Member for Learning and Employability, I was then appointed as Cabinet Member for Learning and Employability in May 2018.

St Mary's Priory Church, Tutbury

£500.00: Funding towards the cost of Hirst conservation, Russell Geometrics Laser Survey, Architects Fees and project costs in relation to the conservation of the UK’s only external Alabaster Arch built circa 1160.

Anslow Parish Council

£149.00: Funding towards installation of additional electric socket, aerial, mounting arm, and router in village hall and configuration of software to enable a WiFi connection to be accessed.

Rolleston on Dove Parish Council

£774.12: Funding towards a Parish Council noticeboard at the front gate of John of Rolleston Primary School which will benefit residents by aiding awareness and involvement of the wider spectrum of village life.

Rolleston on Dove Parish Council

£625.25: Funding to purchase 3 benches at the Elizabeth Avenue play area, two to replace benches in a well-used play area as the current benches are old and one new bench to be located outside the back gate popularly used for school pick-up times.

Tutbury Parish Council

£2,500.00: Funding towards two bespoke historic signs at the entrance of village at each end of the bypass to help raise the profile of the village and encourage economic growth by getting more visitor to enter rather than drive around it.
