Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Etchinghill and Heath electoral division in May 2017.

My division lies in the west of Cannock Chase District and includes the wards of Etchinghill and Heath and part of the ward of Western Springs and covers approximately 1812 hectares with a population of 11,613.

Annual holidays and meeting “clashing dates” account for 9 missed meetings. I also attend a much higher number of internal and external meetings that are not specifically recorded.

£750.00:Funding of volunteer training, food, kitchen and sports equipment and transport the Active-ate Summer Fit and fed project for families and children during 4 weeks of the school holidays to address holiday hunger, isolation and inactivity to include nutritious breakfast and lunch and improve fitness and strengthen both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Hagley Bowls Club

£300.00:Funding of second-hand short mat, block, delivery mats and score board, new match jacks, practice Jacks, tape measures, calipers and assorted second hand indoor bowls during the winter months and encourage active all year round use.

Family Action Cannock Chase Children's Centre

£100.00:Funding of electric cooker to include installation, portable mini oven and hob , microwave, kettle and toaster for the delivery of a 5 week free healthy cook and eat course at South Staffs College using healthy ingredients on a budget for adults and on their ability to care for their children to include cooking meals through gaining skills.

Brereton and Ravenhill Parish Council

£1000.00:Funding towards the purchase of a Tractor Mounted Hedge Trimmer, to be able to cut the hedgerows and improve road visibility and safety.

Rugeley Lotto Events

£750.00:Funding towards a Snow Globe, Fireworks, Snow Machines, Street Entertainers, Santa’s Sleigh, Market Stalls, Medics, 2 DJ’s and Insurance for the Christmas Lights Switch on.

Rugeley Community Church

£1,199.00:Funding of an external defibrillator, maintenance, external storage cabinet, training and installation at Rugeley Community Centre.

10th Rugeley Brownies

£300.00:Funding towards food, decorations and entertainment for the 45th Birthday party of the Brownies.

Rugeley Cricket Club

£227.99:Funding to purchase a table top cricket game for disabled users.

Victory Church Rugeley

£2,650.00:Funding towards boxing steel frames, fabric on ceiling, floor levelling, carpet tiles, sensory equipment and soft furnishing to create a sensory room to help elevate anxiety and stress for families who have children on the autistic spectrum.

Carers Association South Staffordshire

£200.00: Funding towards room hire, refreshments, resources including food, pedometers, hydration bottles etc, promotional flyers and outside trainers/speakers to hold 6 sessions designed to increase nutritional understanding, basic cooking skills and household management capabilities to provide support for male carers who have just taken on their caring responsibilities.
