I was first elected as County Councillor for the Wombourne electoral division in May 2013.  

My division lies in the south of South Staffordshire and includes the wards of Wombourne South West and Wombourne South East and part of the ward of Wombourne North and Lower Penn and covers approximately 1183 hectares with a population of 13,349.

£950.00: Funding of insurance, inflatables, coaches and cadet training for the summer activities programme for children aged 9 - 15 years in a safe and happy environment to include sports leading to a healthy lifestyle.

Family Action South Staffs

£125.00: Funding towards printing and information materials, storage boxes, tuff spots, mini book of ideas, resources for district box, replenish stock and marketing a wide approach to improve the outcomes set to improve various early years community groups, families and children of pre-school age to enhance the children's centre services and enable vulnerable families to access quality which will help children to become school ready.

Parochial Church Council of Wombourne

£850.00: Funding towards performers, male voice choir, advertising, toilet facilities for the various concerts and festival finale for the Wombourne 10th Anniversary Music Festival.

Wombourne Indoor Bowling Club

£2000.00: Funding to purchase an indoor bowling short mat handings/storage machine to enable the club members to roll up the mats after each bowling session.

St. Bernadette's Catholic Primary School

£500.00: Funding towards the purchase of 2 CD players in each class and 2 sets of headphones each and Audio books to help encourage a love or reading in all children.

Wombourne Methodist Church

£50.00: Funding towards the costs of 8 x A4 foamex mounted images and card for mounted images and card for mounting to display the work achieved by the grant last year in funding for the Community Garden to be displayed at the Christmas Lights switch on.

Dementia Singing Friends

£200.00: Funding towards room hire for the community room at Wombourne Library for the singing dementia group on Monday afternoons.

Girlguiding Wombourne District

£900.00: Funding towards labour and materials for stripping toilet, sinks and floor, removal or internal walls and door frames, widen the door to allow for wheelchair access, lower ceilings and plaster and paint, fit 2 new LED lights and refit emergency lights, pipework, fit non-slip flooring, aqua boards, baby change unit, sink, mirrors and accessories to disabled toilet facilities.


£397.97: Funding towards the replacement of 2 all weather gazebo's and a pop-up gazebo with sides that is used to hold stalls at local fundraising / community events.

Family Action

£745.00: Funding to support the delivery of our Children's Centre Volunteer led sessions enabling them to provide free of charge early learning opportunities to families locally helping children to become school ready whilst providing their own networks of support also providing good quality, district specific information, advice and guidance for families with improved knowledge of what they can access to make famiilies healthier and more independent.
