I was first elected as County Councillor for the Gnosall and Doxey electoral division in May 2005.  

My division lies in the west of Stafford Borough and includes the wards Church Eaton, Gnosall and Woodseaves and part of the ward of Seighford, Tillington and Rowley and covers approximately 16381 hectares with a population of 15,447.

£200.00: Funding of bouncy castle and slide, hire of face painter, entertainment and other activities for the Doxey Village Day bringing all the community together, which will also enable the parish council to work more closely with the community to access and identify needs to help build the communityy.

Church Eaton Parish Council

£250.00: Funding towards a third defibrillator to benefit the entire Parish of Church Eaton.

Community Link Stafford and District

£500.00: Funding towards community link bus shoppers service for people with poor mobility to include wheelchair users to continue the bus service in the short term for Ten Butts, Hyde Lea, Coppenhall, Lodgefield Park and the Saltings within Stafford.

SCC Rangers Service

£500.00: Funding towards re-enactors, living historians, PA System and refreshments for public education on local events and sites linked to the military and living history and hands on displays linked to the Great war hut, Tolkien and Great war trails an event to commemorate the Cannock Chase connections with the military.

St. Peters Church - Norbury

£500.00: Funding towards architects’ fees and installation of heaters to make the church warmer and in which provides most of the social life of the village through events and concerts.

Q in the Park

£250.00: Funding towards Banners, Sound Engineer, Fees for entertainers and workshops for the Q in the Park festival 2018.

Bradley Parish Council

£250.00: Funding towards a basket swing with fittings, concrete, safety matting and barriers to upgrade the existing playground to add to and improve the wellbeing of local children.

GG's Youth Club, Gnosall

£250.00: Funding to create new door way out of kitchen to external seating area, hand basin, kitchen sink as part of hygiene regulations and wireless fire/smoke alarm system.

Derrington Way Ahead

£250.00: Funding towards the community wildlife event ‘Wild about Derrington’ attracting several hundreds of visitors with the aim of connecting people with wildlife running a wide range of hands on activities including various groups including barn owls, owl experience, mammals, bats, bumblebee, nest box making and Ranton primary school scavenger hunt.

Freedom Leisure Stafford Active Communities

£250.00: Funding towards 2 x level 2 coaches for 10 hours for Doxey doorstep sports, providing an alternative structured activity for young people in the Doxey area ages 8 -16 years.

Chebsey Parish Council

£200.00: Funding towards display materials for the schools, youth club, community groups to make things for the WW1 series of commemorative events to mark 100 yrs.

High Offley and Knightley PCC

£100.00: Funding towards the cost of six 'There but not there' Perspex figures, flowers and poppies for an event to commemorate the 100 years anniversary.

Derrington Village Hall

£1,000.00: Funding towards the cost of suppling and installing an air conditioning unit in the hall.

The Youth Net

£250.00: Funding towards the SPEAK UP project that goes into schools supporting and facilitating weekly debating clubs over the year, costs for trophies and training for the youth workers

Doxey Parish Council

£250.00: Funding towards the costs of food, Christmas crackers to hold a senior citizens Christmas meal which will help reduce loneliness and isolation in the community.

Monday Craft Group (on behalf of GG's Youth Club)

£500.00: Funding towards carpet and Vinyl floor covering in the main room of the youth club and kitchen.

Gnosall Library Environment and Nurture Hub

£500.00: Funding towards materials for a ramp to facilitate disabled access.

Haughton Village Hall

£300.00: Funding towards tarmacing the existing rear car park area which is currently loose laid stone and making it safe for people using the hall.

SCC Doxey Road Safety Project

£1,100.00: Funding towards a feasibility study to include traffic counts, accident stats, design and drawings including site visits to determine both cost and feasibility in relation to a zebra crossing facility adjacent to Doxey Primary School.

SCC - Community Highways

£150.00: Funding towards the influence of the adhoc gully team program in relation to concerns raised by Church Eaton Parish in regard to localised flooding issues.
