I was first elected as County Councillor for the Biddulph and Endon electoral division in May 2017.  

My division lies to the north west of Staffordshire Moorlands and includes the wards of Bagnall and Stanley, Biddulph East, Biddulph South, Brown Edge and Endon and covers approximately 3187 hectares with a population of 14,223.

Biddulph Bowling and Recreational Club

£1,500.00: Funding towards storage shed and cast iron seat frames for more benches around the outdoor bowling Green providing seating for visitors and players.

Visyon Ltd

£1,000.00: Funding towards the design and printing of user friendly practical self help resources for children, young people and their families to use to support their children’s mental health.

Friends of Biddulph Valley Park

£500.00: Funding towards the preparation of paths to enable the re-surfacing of the priority path which will be a great improvement alongside Biddulph Brook on Biddulph Valley Park which will improve access and encourage people of all ages from nearby estates to walk to the leisure centre, local schools, the park for leisure purposes and the town centre.

Biddulph Twinning Association

£500.00: Funding towards Mini Bus Hire, accommodation, entertaining, including food and visits to places of interest as part of facilitating a visit from students from Fusignano Italy.

Support Staffordshire

£200.00: Funding towards office rent and utilities, volunteer expenses and publicity materials to help get more people involved and volunteering.

Endon Methodist Church

£970.00: Funding towards Food, drinks, fruit, Expert advice on dementia services, expenses of speakers, purchase of booklets for carers on dementia caring, advertising, heating and lighting and hire of films for the carers café for local people to come a long who are caring for someone with dementia.

Biddulph Youth and Community Zone

£1,000.00: Funding to deliver 3 healthy eating workshops that will teach people how to cook simple healthy foods and run along side this project 3 basic fun fitness sessions which will help raise wellbeing and mental health and reduce the need to refer to local doctors.

Brown Edge Luncheon Club

£1,000.00: Funding towards rent of premises to hold the brown edge luncheon club which helps to stop isolation in the village.

Biddulph Ukelele Group

£380.00: Funding towards extra Ukuleles, Tuners, stands and straps and cases for beginners to help encourage more people to join.

Bagnall Norton Cricket Club

£750.00: Funding towards the purchase of an electronic scoreboard to benefit all members of the club and will provide encouragement to all existing members, both playing and spectators and will attract more members and players to the club.

Knypersley Bowling Club 

£700.00: Funding towards replacement paving aroung the top roadside corner of the bowling green as it is currently in poor repair and may present a danger to the public and the players
