I was first elected as County Councillor for the Stone Urban electoral division in May 2017. 

My division lies in the North East of the Stafford district and includes the wards of St. Michael’s, Stonefield and Christchurch and Walton and covers approximately 780 hectares with a population of 14,034

£500.00:Funding towards the costs of taking of blood tests by nurses for all men aged 50 and over to determine their PSA content to indicate early signs of prostate cancer to include consideration of results and letters to an average of 300 individuals.

Carefree Living

£500.00:Funding towards room hire for the local community group who provide projects, social events, education, information and opportunities with a focus on healthy lifestyles and tailors activities for all members of the community irrespective of ability in a friendly and open environment.

Stone Lions Club

£250.00:Funding towards the hire of Water World for a Fun Day for approximately 700 children with special needs with the help of their carers and teachers.

Age Concern Stone and District

£500.00:Funding towards hire of the Green Bus including booking fee for 12 trips out for the older generation.

Stafford and District Bereavement and Loss Support

£500.00:Funding to recruit, train and provide supervision for volunteers in order to reduce the time that clients have to wait, and to increase the number of people we can support.

Oulton Abbey Playgroup

£720.00:Funding towards two new wooden storage tables, ten chairs, two covers for tables, one sand table, one water table, two bookcases, eight external children chairs and external toys and benches for the new premises.

Chebsey Parish Council

£200.00:Funding towards display materials for the schools, youth club, community groups to make things for the WW1 series of commemorative events to mark 100 yrs.

SSAFA Staffordshire - The Armed Forces Charity

£822.40:Funding towards room hire for a five month period, running every Tuesday 10 – 12, contribution towards tea and coffee and promotional material.

£178.00:Funding towards the purchase of 2 cast iron camping pot sets to allow young people to cater for themselves/leaders to cater for them on camp and at meetings.

Pirehill First School £45.00: Funding towards 62 Yamaha recorders, books and cd recorder for year 4 children.

£425.00:Funding towards the replacement of existing electric oven and hob with a new one so that food can be cooked properly.

Stone Revellers Musical Theatre

£775.00:Funding towards the replacement of a Digital Piano and amplifier to be used by all the community of St Michael’s Hall.

Christchurch Academy School

£425.00:Funding towards a banner advertisement for outside school gates, Stone Rocks banner for the mainstage and promotional leaflets for the Stone Rocks Music Festival showcasing the school’s creative talent.

Walton Priory Middle School

£175.00:Funding to purchase new planks of wood to repair the beds and tools for use on the school allotment.

Aston Lodge Residents Association

£250.00:Funding to purchase new brushes, shovels, clippers, loppers, secateurs and wheelbarrow for the volunteer party that is cleaning and maintaining the public pathways on Aston Lodge Estate.

St John Ambulance Stone 

£200.00:Funding to purchase a gazebo to help support branch promotion and recruitment.
