Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Eccleshall electoral division in May 2017. 

My division lies in the north west of Stafford and includes the wards of Eccleshall and Swynnerton and part of the ward of Seighford and covers approximately 18374 hectares with a population of 12,127.

£250.00: Funding towards Room Hire and refreshments to help set up a Historical Society in Chebsey Parish. Also money towards a booklet of historical photographs of Chebsey Parish.

Q in the Park

£250.00: Funding towards Banners, Sound Engineer, Fees for entertainers and workshops for the Q in the Park festival 2018.

Stone Lions Club

£250.00: Funding towards the hire of Water World for a Fun Day for approximately 700 children with special needs with the help of their carers and teachers.

£150.00: Funding towards a raised bed, soil and plants to refurbish and improve the community garden and village planters.

Chebsey Parish Council

£400.00: Funding towards display materials for the schools, youth club, community groups to make things for the WW1 series of commemorative events to mark 100 yrs.

£200.00: Funding towards equipment craft essentials for relaxation activities, Educational activities travel costs and help towards activities for a day trip to London for the Star Maker’s Girls Group.

Disability Solutions West Midlands

£350.00: Funding towards Volunteer Expenses, training and help towards the telephone and IT costs so that the volunteers can support people with disabilities.

SARH BeConnected Steering Group

£250.00: Funding towards a CD Player/radio with Bluetooth, speaker for reminiscence event in February, singer for sing-a-long event in March, transport to friendship group events, food and refreshments and games for the Eccleshall Friendship Group.

500.00: Funding towards the cost of production of a marketing video that shows what Eccleshall is, gets people intrigued and wanting to visit to find out more.

£275.00: Funding towards plasterboard, fixings, seam tape, finishing plaster, paint and labour for the works to replace the vestry kitchen roof which has been leaking for a few years.

£400.00: Funding towards raised beds, groundwork and paths for a children’s garden allotment and bench seating.

Eccleshall Football Club

£400.00: Funding towards new ceiling and wall cladding, new washbasin/taps, replacement of old ceramic urinals with stainless steel trough, associated plumbing work in toilet area and labour and removal of old items for a refurbishment of the male toilets.

Eccleshall Parish Council

£400.00: Funding to support the successful community group running Eccleshall Library with start-up costs as it transitions into becoming a community hub.

Eccleshall Parish Council

£1,000.00: Funding to work with the bus operator to create a sustainable commercial bus service at peak commuter times of 7.50am to support employment and educational use, if the bus is used enough then the bus operator will but the service in fully and operate commercially long term.

Rising Brook Runners

£280.00: Funding towards UK Athletics Leadership in running fitness training course x 4 to run a Couch to 5k which is a 10 week programme helping people of all ages to begin their journey in leading a healthier more active lifestyle.

Community Foundation for Staffordshire

£845.00: Funding towards a chilled fridge and fitting out a unit to set up a chilled hub to store chilled food for the foodbanks.

Friends of Izaak Walton Fisheries 

£200.00: Funding towards Materials such as paper, wood, card and fabric, scissors, wood saw, glue and glue guns, pens, ink, paints, cutting boards, embossing machine and promotional leaflets to set up a Crafts Group for All to bring the community together and give a sense of belonging and feel part of the community.
