Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Lichfield Rural North electoral division in May 2005. 

My division lies in the north of Lichfield district and includes Alrewas, Fradley and Boley Park, and part of the ward of Whttington and covers approximately 3161 hectares with a population of 12,210.

£400.00: Funding of consultant development training programme, literature and guides for current and future volunteers, leaflets, promotional material, pull up banners, volunteer’s expenses for courses, volunteer fayres and promotional events to encourage new volunteers, external training courses and skills workshops for Erasmus Darwin House.

Lichfield Arts

£500.00: Funding towards audience participatory activities aimed at engaging children in workshops beatboxing sessions, magic, décor creation, making wacky musical instruments, hip hop, storytelling, circus skills, sports and fitness as part of the FUSE Festival 2018.

7th Lichfield (St. Michael's) Scout Group

£681.00: Funding of 10 bow packs for soft archery in a fund and safe way to offer a wide range of activities for the children aged 6-14 years in the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections.

Lichfield District Council

£1,000.00: Funding towards sound, stage, lighting, orchestra, performers, band, toilet facilities, fireworks, security, first aiders, promotion, printing, equipment hire, PRS licence for the Proms in the Park community event.

Lichfield Swimming Club

£500.00: Funding of pool hire, ribbons, medals and as part of trophies he 4 internal club gala awards for all swimmers to compete and medals and trophies will be awarded at the presentation evening in January.

2nd Fradley Brownies

£520.00: Funding of coach hire for the 30 Brownies and Leaders to travel to West Midlands Safari Park to attend a county wide sleepover a weekend of fun and building of lasting friendships which strengthen cohesion within the village.

Lichfield & District Live at Home Scheme

£550.00: Funding towards volunteer expenses for the Befriending service to provide home visits to older people who are frail and vulnerable to reduce social isolation and loneliness.

Staffordshire Playing Fields Association

£140.00: Funding towards 2 room hire bookings and refreshments for the charity organisation that provides interest free loans to support schemes for sports clubs, play areas for children, charitable organisations for the Staffordshire community.

Family Action - Lichfield

£200.00: Funding towards printing and information materials, storage boxes, tuff spots, mini book of ideas, resources for district box, replenish stock and marketing a wide approach to improve outcomes set to improve various early years community groups, families and children of pre-school age to enhance the children's centre services and enable vulnerable families to access quality which will help with children to become school ready.

Lichfield Festival 

£275.00: Funding towards materials to refurbish six Lichfield Festival Flagpole, advertising boards at six entry points. The poles to be painted and flags replaced, new boards attached, to be used for the Festival and other event organisers in the future to advertise events across the city.

Staffordshire Playing Fields Association

£500.00: Funding towards the cost of printing the annual report, ink cartridges, paper and photocopying.

Lichfield Community RUFC

£200.00: Funding towards a new website setting up and running costs.

Kendall and Wall Charitable Trust

£1,284.00: Funding towards diesel, servicing, MOT LOLER tests, Insurance and depreciation to keep the minibuses going for 1 year.
