Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Biddulph North electoral division in June 2009.  

My division lies in the north west of Staffordshire Moorlands and includes the wards of Biddulph Moor, Biddulph North and Biddulph West and covers approximately 2022 with a population of 11,652.

£750.00: Funding towards coach travel, meal and entertainment for the day trip to Bakewell.

Biddulph Bowling and Recreational Club

£500.00: Funding towards storage shed and cast iron seat frames for more benches around the outdoor bowling Green providing seating for visitors and players.

Biddulph Ladies Afternoon Club

£500.00: Funding towards their annual day trip by coach to Llandudno on 13 August to promote wellbeing and to reduce loneliness.

Visyon Ltd

£1,000.00: Funding towards the design and printing of user friendly practical self help resources for children, young people and their families to use to support their children’s mental health.

Friends of Biddulph Valley Park

£1,000.00: Funding towards the preparation of paths to enable the re-surfacing of the priority path which will be a great improvement alongside Biddulph Brook on Biddulph Valley Park which will improve access and encourage people of all ages from nearby estates to walk to the leisure centre, local schools, the park for leisure purposes and the town centre

Biddulph in Bloom

£800.00: Funding towards the repair of two greenhouses at Well Street allotment site for the growing of plants by volunteers to benefit and improve the local environment.

1st Biddulph Scout Group

£425.00: Funding towards badges, training for 6 young explorers and for those who may require funding support who without would not be able to attend the scout group.

Biddulph Moor Evergreen Club

£500.00: Funding towards rental of village hall, Christmas party and entertainment, pantomime tickets and travel in providing companionship to members of the group.

Christ Church Biddulph Moor

£1,000.00: Funding towards the replacement of a boiler to a combi boiler to improve the heating in the church hall which is used by the local community for Rainbows, Guides and other groups.

Biddulph U3A

£500.00: Funding towards IT Equipment for a new building that has lain empty for years that over 600 members will have access to Education, Health, and Fitness facilities.

Biddulph Twinning Association 

£500.00: Funding towards Mini Bus Hire, accommodation, entertaining, including food and visits to places of interest as part of facilitating a visit from students from Fusignano Italy.
