I was first elected as County Councillor for the Stafford West electoral division in May 2017.  

My division lies in the south of Stafford borough and includes the wards of Highfields and Western Downs, Manor and part of the ward of Rowley and covers approximately 429 hectares with a population of 15,317.

Rising Brook Community Projects

£600: Funding of one month's rent for the storage of furniture at Brookside Business Park for furniture at Brookside Business Park for furniture that has been collected to be distributed to families in need, furniture will be delivered through the project based at Rising Brook Baptist Church and operated by volunteers.

Hawkesmoor Road Allotments Association

£500.00: Funding of a mower, chainsaw, multi tool, lubricating oils and petrol container to be used by all allotment holders with training to keep the allotment holders with training to keep the allotments in good condition and the community fitter by working on the allotments and healthier by eating fresh vegetables grown.


Funding for the registration of ASDAN centre for 2 year courses, workshops, course booklets, resources for approx 20 learners, sensory items for sensory room, delivery of sessions and activities for children and young people 7 - 17 years with autism spectrum conditions and their families and their families and to work towards ASDAN awards

Community Link Stafford & District

£500.00: Funding towards community link bus shoppers service for people with poor mobility to include wheelchair users to continue the bus service in the short term for Ten Butts, Hyde Lea, Coppenhall, Lodgefield Park and the Saltings within Stafford

Old Chapel Works

£300.00: Funding towards heavy wood sleepers for benches and raised beds, hire of specialist digging kit, wood screws, nails for sensory wall, daisy wall, insect hotel seeds, veggies and fertiliser, poster and flyers and refreshments for volunteers, workshop events and to clearing the disused area into a relaxing spot with bench and building raised beds to plant vegetables and run a horticulture outdoor classroom workshops.

Stafford Manor High School

£350.00: Funding of promotional and educational support for students, prizes for raffle, display and equipment for the student council to support those students who are tasked with supporting local charities by the delivery and the running of fundraising activities.

Q in the Park

£250.00: Funding towards Banners, Sound Engineers, Fees for entertainers, and workshops for the Q in the Park Festival 2018.

21st Stafford Brownies Girl Guides

£728.00: Funding towards flag with lettering, cord and holder for St. George's Day, Remembrance and Public parades, kitchen equipment, slotted turner and propane gas cage for cooking at camps.

21st West Stafford Scout Group

£400.00: Funding towards flag with lettering, cord and holder for St. George's Day, Remembrance and Public Parades, kitchen equipment, slotted turner and propane gas cage for cooking at camps.

Stafford Riverway Link 

 £200.00: Funding towards cement, ballast, steel, weldmesh, timber materials for work and equipment hire to complete the connection with the Staffs and Worcs Canal and the town centre of Stafford for Stage 1 to complete the basin at Baswich which will also provide a footpath through a wildlife area to town.

Rising Brook Baptist Church

£200.00: Funding towards a Fridge, a high performance cool box, fridge thermometer and folding table to help transport and store chilled fresh food to the foodbank.

Stafford Welcomes

£300.00: Funding towards BArts "Refugee Stories" drama productions fees for a number of performances, School workshop materials, travel expenses, Befrienders training costs, venue hire and interpretation fees.

West Way Allotments Assocation

£470.00: Funding towards the purchase of a petrol hedge trimmer to help maintain the allotments boundary and stop overgrowth into people's gardens.

Konnektiv Arts

£290.00: Funding towards the purchase of a mobile telephone and a one year of year of unlimited texts and useage, to help Stafford There is No Planet B to help organise and run the 2019 Green Arts Festival which is to take place in February in the town centre.

Stafford Division Guides

£212.00: Funding towards the cost of an application of cold tar layer which will seal the whole roof and repair the damage that was caused by the winter storm to the Headquarters hut that is used by all Staffordshire Division Groups.

The Youth Net

£500.00: Funding towards the SPEAK UP project that goes into schools supporting and facilitating weekly debating clubs over the year, costs for trophies and training for youth workers

Wrekin Residents Group

£150.00: Funding towards the installation of water supply for the community garden and allotments.

St Peter's Pre School & Nursery

£200.00: Funding towards equipment craft essentials for relaxation activities, educational activities travel costs and help towards activities for a day trip to London for the Star Maker's Girls Group.

Newport Road Residents Association

£450.00: Funding to provide a community noticeboard that will enable local residents particularly the elderly who don't have email/social media access, in the community to help each other.
