I was first elected as County Councillor for the Perrycrofts electoral division in June 2009.  

My division lies in the north of Tamworth. It includes Spital ward and part of the ward of Mercian covering 617 hectares with a population of 12,182.

£300.00: Funding of electrical point work, HDMI TV, cables and wall bracket, tables, chairs and 2 sofas for the Prince’s Trust Team programme to be delivered from Tamworth Belgrave Community Fire Station to support 16-25 years old over 60 days to help them back into education, employment or training.

Community Together CIC

£600.00: Funding of Great War re-enactors to include handling items, materials and handouts for a day of class visits for local schools to include a local artist to run a day of class visit for poppy craft events and materials.

Brightfutures Un-Ltd

£500.00: Funding of room hire within the local library and artists workshops for the group of retired and disabled members.

Xtra Humungous Ltd

£750.00: Funding towards lighting, library shelving and seating pads and a range of fact and fiction books to create a new library with a professional feel that allows children to access the library independently in providing a wide range of inspiring books to inspire children to read.

Tamworth District Scouts Council

£528.00: Funding of coach hire and visit to the National Memorial Arboretum to celebrate 30th birthday of the Townswomens Guild and to acknowledge100 years of the suffragist movement.

Tamworth & Lichfield Sea Cadets

£300.00: Funding of coach hire to enable a group of children from the Code Club to go to the manufacturers in Chorley to learn how to build the 3D printer and learn how to do the programming.

The Tamworth & District Civic Society

£750.00: Funding towards transport for garden visits and speakers to come along and talk about a wider spectrum of horticulture subjects.

Two Rivers School

£525.00: Funding towards rule books, scenery, models gaming equipment for new players and storage for new players to learn and get involved in the group which has grown since set up in 2010 a weekly event held at Perton Library.

The Rawlett School

£125.00: Funding towards printing and information materials, storage boxes, tuff spots, mini book of ideas, resources for district box, replenish stock and marketing a wide approach to improve the outcomes set to improve various early years community groups, families and children of pre - school age to enhance the children’s centre services and enable vulnerable families to access quality which will help with children to become school ready.

Total Arts Community Theatre and IMPACT Youth Theatre

£1,000.00: Funding towards the cost of the lights for the Christmas tree, installation of lights around Anders Square and the removal, Entertainment budget/Library for children and compare/father Christmas grotto, insurance and electricity for lights/advertising.

Tamworth Round Table £400.00: Funding towards a Metal Storage container to hold all the props and costumes made by the group.
Coton Green Evangelical Free Church Trust £500: Funding towards craft materials to help the XLM project expand and work with four more schools to offer support to the young people to improve their wellbeing, Health and quality of life.
Royal British Legion Tamworth Branch £400.00: Funding towards a buffet for service men and women after the parade on 11th November.
Kendall and Wall Charitable Trust £250.00: Funding towards diesel, servicing,  MOT LOLER tests, insurance and depreciation to keep the minibuses going for one year.

South East Staffs CAB

£1,440.00: Funding towards 10 benches to go around the school playground area for the children to sit and enjoy fresh air.
