Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the Lichfield Rural East electoral division in May 2013.  

My division lies in the east of Lichfield and includes the wards of Mease and Tame and Fazeley and part of the wards of Whittington (Whittington and Fisherwick parishes and Bourne Vale (Drayton Basset parish) and covers approximately 11061 hectares with a population of 13,929.

Lichfield Arts

£500.00: Funding towards audience participatory activities aimed at engaging children in workshops beatboxing sessions, magic, décor creation, making wacky musical instruments, hip hop, storytelling, circus skills, sports and fitness as part of the FUSE Festival 2018.

The Tamworth and District Civic Society

£500.00: Funding towards production of tickets, order of service, seat markers, banners, postage, hire of toilets, banners, catering, hire of bugler, soloist, choir, photographer, Marshalls for a National Service of commemoration for the 1100th Anniversary of the Death of Aethelflaed Lady of the Mercians to be held at St Editha’s Parish and Collegiate Church Tamworth on 12/06/18.

£1,000.00: Funding towards Highways Regulatory work for the Fazeley Road Safety Campaign.

Canwell Estate Agricultural Society

£400.00: Funding of new signage and advertising banners to promote Canwell show.

MHA Lichfield and District Live at Home Scheme

£500.00: Funding of volunteer expenses for the live at home scheme in Fazeley.

Lichfield Running Club

£500.00: Funding towards the overall costs of the Lichfield 10k Race and Fun run encourages families and young people to get involved in the biggest sporting events in the area.

Whittington and Fisherwick Parish Council 

£250.00: Funding to 3 night security costs for the Countryside Fair for the 3 day event which is now a requirement due to an incident overnight at the previous year’s Fair.

Family Action - Lichfield

£200.00: Funding towards printing and information materials, storage boxes, tuff spots, mini book of ideas, resources for district box, replenish stock and marketing a wide approach to improve the outcomes set to improve various early years community groups, families and children of pre - school age to enhance the children’s centre services and enable vulnerable families to access quality which will help with children to become school ready.

Lichfield Festival

£275.00: Funding towards materials to refurbish 6 Lichfield Festival Flagpole, advertising boards, at 6 entry points. The poles to be painted and flags replaced, new boards attached, to be used for the Festival and other event organisers in the future to advertise events across the city.

Whittington Bowling Club

£300.00: Funding to purchase Children’s Crown green bowls to allow them to offer schools, brownies etc the opportunity to come and play.

Whittington and Fisherwick Parish Council 

£300.00: Funding towards room hire, entertainment, food and drink and Table Decorations, banqueting rolls etc for the Senior Citizens Christmas Party.

Whittington Village Hall

£500.00: Funding towards redecoration of main hall for the regular users.

Senior Care Tamworth Ltd. Home Instead Senior Care

£500.00: Funding towards Promotional Leaflets, Craft equipment, Games, Books, Paints, Paper, Flip Chart, CD player, CD’s and Microphone for the Lichfield Memory Café.

Edingale Village Hall 

£1,000.00: Funding towards 100 High back padded stackable chairs to replace the old unsafe ones.

St. Andrew's School Association 

£375.00: Funding to supply and install resin based rubber mulch to create a daily mile track around the perimeter of the school playing field for the pupils to be able to complete a daily exercise.
