March 2021

04 March – SCC Chairman Kath Perry, in partnership with the Mayor of Newcastle BC John Cooper ‘attended’ a Virtual ‘Visit’ to Florence House Residential Home Porthill Bank.

09 March – The Chairman Kath Perry virtually attended the SCVYS (The Staffordshire Council Of Voluntary Youth Services) Supporting Staffordshire's Young people in the Covid era. The event launched 'Friends of Staffordshire Youth', an initiative to allow us all to respond and help young people overcome the problems they face due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

19 March – The Chairman Kath Perry and her Consort Ray Perry hosted virtually the ‘Chairman's Civic Virtual Evening’ ‘attended’ by Staffordshire District and Borough Civic Heads.

22 March – SCC Chairman Kath Perry, in partnership with the Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford BC Gareth Jones and Renee Robinson ‘attended’ a Virtual ‘Visit’ to St Mary’s Residential Home Stone

 

April 2021

16 April – A Thanksgiving Church Service was held at St Mary’s Church Stafford in honour of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman Kath Perry joined the congregation who attended in accordance with the Government’s Covid-19 guidance 

18 April – The Chairman attended, again, in accordance with the Government’s Covid-19 guidance, a Service of Evening Worship with Prayers held at Lichfield Cathedral in memory of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh

27 April – SCC Chairman Kath Perry attended The Collegiate Church of St Mary in Stafford to mark the Opening of the High Court, in accordance with Government’s Covid-19 guidance and by invitation from the High Sheriff of Staffordshire James Friend DL

28 April – SCC Chairman Kath Perry virtually attended the Memorial Installation of a kissing gate nr. Chebsey to mark International Workers Memorial Day

30 April – SCC Chairman Kath Perry attended, in accordance with Government’s Covid-19 guidance, visited Cheslyn Hay Primary School as judge at the schools Easter Egg Competition


May 2021

14 May – The Chairman Kath Perry has chosen 4 charities to give her support to during her term of office, one is ‘Creating Choice’ and the Chairman and Sharron and Jim Keown, Directors of Catherine Care, ‘attended’ a virtual Presentation meeting today

19 May – In continuation of the virtual Presentations to the Chairman’s 4 chosen charities, the Chairman Kath Perry ‘hosted’ the second virtual Presentation meeting together with South Staffordshire Deaf Children’s Society representatives Chairperson Tina Bayley, Treasurer Jimmy Naudi, and Secretary Lisa Hallows

19 May – The third virtual Presentation meeting to go ahead with SCC Chairman Kath Perry, was held with the charity Staffordshire Women’s Aid and ‘attended’ by the organisations Chief Executive Dickie James  

19 May – The fourth and final virtual Presentation to the Chairman’s chosen charities was also held today when the Chairman ‘met’ with Staffordshire St John / St John Ambulance representatives District Manager Jon Mannion, John Davis, and George Steele

 

June 2021

05 June – The Royal British Legion’s D Day Commemoration Service at the National Memorial Arboretum

26 June – The Consecration and unveiling of the statue of St Chad’s held at Lichfield Cathedral

July 2021

 

03 July – The Royal British Legion invited the Chairman to a Centenary Service and Dedication of the New Branch Standard at St Mary’s Church in Stafford  

28 July – The Chairman was privileged to be invited to the Dedication of the New UK Police Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum

29 July – Staffordshire young people and the Chairman were invited by SCVYS (The Staffordshire Council Of Voluntary Youth Services) to continue the annual wreath laying Ceremony at the German and Commonwealth Cemeteries

August 2021

02 August – The Chairman and Staffordshire and Bremen young people plus the German War Graves Commission (Bremen) attend a virtual meeting

17 August – Lichfield City Council’s Mayor and Sheriff’s Charity Beer and Skittles evening
