Future transport solutions

Staffordshire County Council is taking part in the Simulate Live Labs programme funded through the Department for Transport and designed to accelerate innovative solutions in Air Quality and intelligent mobility with local authorities.

The program combines research and feasibility with collaborative incubation and trialling of small and medium enterprises to deliver a radical new vision for air quality and Mobility in Staffordshire.

Some of the solutions being trialled include rental of E-Scooters in Stafford and Newcastle, pop up electrical chargers and green wall tech to improve air quality inside schools.
