New service for eMagazines, eComics and eAudiobooks

Our eMagazine, eComics and one of our eAudiobooks provider will be changing to Libby, part of a service called Overdrive, on 22 March.

The migration to Libby will commence at around 1pm. You will be able to access the new platform from this time, but please be aware that it could take up to 24 hours for all the content to move across

If you currently use RBdigital to access titles, please see our information below regarding what this change will mean for you. Also, for more details, please open the RBdigital app; there’s a 'learn more' link.

Please note that you won’t find Staffordshire Libraries in Libby until the go-live date. We won’t be closing down RBdigital straight away, it’s going to remain available until 31 March, so after the move you’ll still be able to finish anything that you’ve already borrowed, but we recommend that you use Libby for anything new as soon as it’s live. None of the other eLibrary services that your Library provides are affected by this change.

We hope you’ve enjoyed using RBdigital and that you enjoy using Libby even more to help you make the most of what your Library has to offer.

When Libby is available, instructions on how to log in and access titles will be available on our eMagazines page and our eAudiobooks page. Please note, Libby is not available for Kindle, however Kindle Fire users can use the original OverDrive app.
