Ordering a Ready Steady Library bag

RSL squirrel ordering pageTo order a Ready Steady Library bag, you will need to be a member of Staffordshire Libraries.

Joining the library is free at any Staffordshire Library or online.

Once you have your library ticket number, you can order a bag in the following ways:

  • Download and complete the order form (570KB) and hand it in to any Staffordshire Library.


  • Send an email to liz.gardner@staffordshire.gov.uk stating 
    • your library ticket number (starting 28014)
    • the age of your child
    • which theme you would like the bag on (e.g. Numeracy)
    • which Staffordshire Library you would like to collect the bag from
    • a mobile or landline contact number

Demand for the bags is high so please be aware that there may be a wait before you receive one.

If we are unable to supply a bag within 10 working days we will contact you to let you know when you might receive one.

When the bag arrives at your chosen library for collection, the library will let you know.

Bags can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks and can be returned to any Staffordshire Library.

If you are an Early Years setting, group or organisation and would like to borrow a bag, please email liz.gardner@staffordshire.gov.uk to discuss.
