Emerge Youth Group

Emerge Youth Group logo 250The Emerge Youth Group formed out of Emerge Festivals in 2018 and 2019, funded by Spirit of 2012, to provide young people with the chance to be creative at the heart of their community. Cannock Library are continuing the Emerge legacy by holding weekly sessions led by young people who co-produce exciting new work combining theatre, music, singing, poetry and performance.

Emerge 2020

This year, the Emerge Youth Group are working towards their next event which will take place in April 2020. They will be performing a theatre show based on 80s, 90s and 00s nostalgia - watch this space!

Emerge Youth Group is open to young people aged from age 11 upwards.

During weekly workshops, artists are invited to work with young people to explore different art forms and develop ideas for their event. Young people are also offered the opportunity to take part in the Arts Award programme.
