Proposed Construction of a Raised Table on Common Lane and Bridge Farm Lane, Fradley
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council in accordance with the Highways Act 1980, propose to construct a raised table on Common Lane and Bridge Farm Lane, Fradley for the purpose of calming traffic speeds. The raised table will be constructed as described below:
Starting 22 metres north east of the centre of the proposed housing development access / Bridge Farm Lane junction and ending 23m south west of the centre of the proposed housing development access / Bridge Farm Lane junction. The raised table also extends 15m south east along Bridge Farm Lane, 8m into the access to the existing gas governor and 14m into the proposed housing development access, from the centre of the proposed housing development access / Bridge Farm Lane junction.
Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Objections should be sent in writing to: Strategic Asset and Network Management, Highways, 2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk not later than 02 July 2020 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR57/19 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

Provision of Zebra Crossing
Common Lane, Fradley
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 propose to provide a Zebra Crossing on Common Lane, Fradley located 18 metres south west of the centre of the entrance into the proposed housing development access / Bridge Farm Lane junction.

Statement of Reasons
This proposal is required as part of a planning condition regarding access and safeguarding the amenity of residents living on Turnbull Road. The proposal will reduce traffic speeds of vehicles on Turnbull Road and provide a safe crossing point for pedestrian. Provision will be made for cyclists by linking together the existing footway/cycleway on the west side of Turnbull Road and the pedestrian/cyclist route on Bridge Farm Lane.
