The Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment) No. 46/20xx
- Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on Sturgeons Hill, Lichfield.
This will revoke the Staffordshire County Council (Sturgeons Hill/Boley Lane, Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2004 only in so far as it relates to this Order.
- Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire.
- Objections should be sent in writing to: Strategic Asset and Network Management, Highways, 2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk not later than 18 February 2021 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR44/20 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

The Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment) No. 46/20xx
The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
- This Amendment Order shall come into operation on xx xxxx 20xx and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
- The above Order amends the Plan marked CK 244, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 and in substitution thereof.

Statement of reasons
This proposal forms part of the Staffordshire County Council’s commitment to the delivery of community projects identified within the locally elected members Divisional Highway Programme.
The scheme which has the support of County Councillor Eagland and County Councillor Greatorex will look to provide a no waiting at any time parking restriction for the above road in Lichfield.
The introduction of these measures will avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road, or any other road, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
