The Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment)

1. Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on Brownsfield Road and Enots Close, Lichfield.
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire
3. Objections should be sent in writing to: Strategic Asset and Network Management, Highways, 2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk
not later than 24 March 2022 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR41/21 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
- This Amendment Order shall come into operation on xx xxxx 20xx and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
- The above Order amends the Plans marked CL 239, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 and in substitution thereof.

Statement of Reasons:
This proposal is for the provision of a ‘No-Waiting at any time’ restriction to Brownsfield Road. This is required for road safety reasons, in order to prevent the parking of vehicles that would limit visibility from junction.
