No Waiting at Any Time

A513 Comberford Road, Lichfield

Statement of Reasons

It is proposed to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions along part of the A513 Comberford Road in Tamworth. Rawlett Community Sports College has been successful in gaining planning permission to extend the school and the additional parking was raised as an issue which needs addressing prior to the full re-opening. The proposed restrictions are designed to protect the junctions from inconsiderate parking which could limit visibility of pupils as they enter and exit the school, and remove parking along Comberford Road to maintain traffic flow throughout the day. The restrictions are to complement the existing School Keep Clear markings outside the school.
