A5192 Cappers Lane, Lichfield
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 propose to provide a Toucan Crossing on A5192 Cappers Lane, Lichfield – located approximately 40 metres north west from the roundabout junction of A5192 Cappers Lane and Austin Cote Lane.
Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St. Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Statement of Reasons
The proposal for a new Toucan Crossing on the A5192 Cappers Lane, Lichfield aims to provide a safer crossing point for pedestrians and cyclists in the area, specifically to improve the existing cycle link from Austin Cote Lane, across Cappers Lane and into Europa Way / Burton Old Road where a new commercial development is under construction.
