Apply for a permit

A residents' parking permit is for use in an area that has a residents' parking scheme in effect.

We will try to make sure that a standard permit and a second permit is available for each household that requests one, but we can't guarantee this.

You may only apply for one of each permit type at a time (except business permits).

There will be a one off joining fee for any new permits and these will vary between the parking zones.

Permits will be processed and posted within 10 working days on completion of a satisfactory application form and payment has been received.

Apply for a new permit

  1. Find out which permit you need to apply for.
  2. Check which pieces of evidence are needed when applying.
  3. Use our online form to apply.
