Environmental information regulations search

What is environmental information in relation to highway searches?

Some information that can be requested as part of the CON29 search enquiry process can be requested from us under the Environmental Information Regulations Act 2004.

How do I request this information?

We presently accept email requests which can be sent to us at  land.charges@staffordshire.gov.uk.

Your email will need to include the address of the property to which your enquiry relates, which questions you would like answering and a plan which identifies the property.

How do much does information cost?

Information is available free of charge relating to nearby road schemes, traffic schemes and outstanding notices.

How do I collect my results?

Currently, we provide results back over the phone. Please call the team on 01785 277391 or 276595 after 3pm to receive your results.

Please note: If you submitted your request before 12pm we aim to make the information available over the phone on the fifth working day. If you submitted your request after 12pm we aim to make the information available over the phone on the sixth working day.
