National lockdown: Stay at home

How to apply

Changing school in September?

When a pupil moves school as part of the general admissions process (for example starting school or moving from primary to secondary school) you will be advised what the arrangements are for applying for travel assistance.

Applications during the year

If you need to apply for travel help at other times, please read our policy before completing the application form either online or by post.

It may take up to 20 working days after approval of your application to arrange travel assistance.

You are expected to make and pay for your own travel arrangements during this time.

Applying online

The quickest and easiest way to apply is online

The online service should not be used for pupils transferring/starting school in September 2021. Parents will be advised of the process for travel assistance applications on receipt of their child's school place offer on National Offer Day

What if I can't apply online or have a problem?

As a last resort, you can request a paper application form by emailing admissions@staffordshire.gov.uk or calling us on 0300 111 8007.

Income assessed travel assistance

Applications should always be made no matter when you want travel assistance to begin.

Your data
