Bikeability National Standard Cycle Training
Bikeability National Standard Cycle Training
Cycle training for children and students in Staffordshire schools is fully funded by the Department for Transport Bikeability programme. Delivered on behalf of Staffordshire County Council by Cyclist Training Ltd, there are 15,000 training places available across the three levels of training and supporting modules.
For information about the levels of training, the programme background and the aims of providing cycle training please see Bikeability for further information. There are also supporting curriculum tools and ideas for teaching staff to help you bring Bikeability and cycling into your classroom.
Scooter Training
Whilst there is no dedicated funding for scooter training, schools working on a travel plan can receive part funding on request, subject to conditions.
