Curriculum content

 

The Key Person ensures that:

  • play is integral in the early years curriculum and reflected across all areas of learning
  • a range of opportunities for creativity are provided within the early years curriculum for children to experience success and/or explore their different skills and interests
  • activities are appropriately differentiated to take into account developmental levels and to ensure there are appropriate levels of intellectual challenge and support
  • they are aware and take account of different levels of development, attention levels, language skills, social and emotional development and acknowledge the effect that these could have on a child’s achievement and behaviour
  • specific skills are taught within the nursery curriculum to encourage independence
