Go on… cut that hedge

Why keep your hedges trimmed?

Cutting your hedge or keeping your property boundary keeps public footpaths looking good, clear and safe for everyone to use.

Or you could cut the grass verge outside yours or your neighbour’s house if you’re next to a highway. This helps to keep it looking good but also helps all road users to see more.

If you make a pledge below, you'll get some more information on easy ways to carry out your pledge. If you let us know your email, we will send you more tips, advice, and stories of people doing the same.
