Choose renewable energy sources for your home

Why is it important?

If you can’t travel differently one day a week, you could browse energy suppliers that get their energy from renewable sources, or switch the wood you put on your wood-burning stove.

Energy Production is the second biggest source of air pollution at 21% after vehicles so choosing renewable energy providers can help change the energy market and make real change by improving Air Quality.

Wood-burning stoves are a major source of pollution in the UK. Sourcing properly dried wood can make a huge difference to pollution levels, especially inside the home. People do not link air pollution with the home but sometimes it can be higher inside than outside. Properly dried wood produces less of these harmful pollutants.
