Parking, Roadside Damage and pedestrian safety on Birches Road Codsall

Dear Mr Biddle

I refer to the petition, signed by local residents regarding parking, roadside damage and pedestrian safety on Birches Road, Codsall. I can advise you that receipt of the petition will be reported to Cllr Mark Deaville, Cabinet Member for Commercial (including Highways & Transport).

Under the leadership of the local County Councillor, all local highway and transport matters of this nature will be rationalised and prioritised into a plan known as the Member’s Divisional Highway Programme. This will include a delivery programme of committed improvements and agreed priorities for further investigation of feasible solutions to ongoing local concerns.

A copy of the petition has also been sent to the Community Infrastructure Liaison Manager Mark Keeling who will discuss this particular request with Cllr Bob Spencer at the earliest convenience.

I understand Mr Keeling has recently met with the Head teacher of Birches First School and the local PCSO to discuss parking issues both outside the school and on Birches Road.

Should you require further information regarding your petition please contact Mark Keeling on 01785 854676

Yours sincerely

Amanda Felton
