Current visiting restrictions

We want to keep residents in care homes safe from coronavirus.

When deciding your visiting policy, you need to follow national and local guidance.

This is because the level of risk from the virus in different areas, or indeed individual care homes, may vary at any given time. If there is a need to restrict visiting to essential visits only in a specific part of Staffordshire, affected care home settings will receive an email from ascincidentmanagement@staffordshire.gov.uk to their nominated email address. The email will be identified with the heading “For Urgent Action: Change of Advice for Visiting in Care Home Settings”. You should reply to the email to acknowledge receipt of it. A further email will be sent when restrictions can be lifted.

We will also publish any restrictions on this page.
