Funding – Now's your time to upskill or retain your staff for free
Now Is Your Time to upskill or retrain your staff for free…
.. because ‘normal’ is still on hold
Is training your staff the furthest thing from your mind right now? As a small business that may have been hit hard from the pandemic, you may simply not be able to afford it – many can’t. But re-skilling or retraining now may well make the difference between your long–term, and even your short–term plans succeeding or failing.
But you want to diversify into other areas. You want your staff to be more agile in their roles and to be able to cover more ground. You may have found that despite your initial fears, agile working could be a blueprint for the long term. Even before Covid, national research showed that millions of workers may need to acquire new skills by 2030, with 87% of business leaders saying they were already experiencing skills gaps.
Now with more businesses looking to retain staff, diversify their income streams and working from home being here to stay, staff have to learn how to adapt to changing conditions, new roles and activities. It makes sense to train and retrain staff now. 5 more reasons to get a grant and train your staff now
