Who can you purchase PPE from?

The following organisations are used by the county council to procure PPE for the care sector.  You may find this helpful in terms of who to contact to purchase good quality PPE equipment at a competitive price.

However, we would recommend that you: read and are aware of the PPE information contained on the governments PPE hub which also includes information from the government on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) guidelines. You are responsible for making sure the packs you buy are correct for your business. 

• Ensure it is to the correct specification. We recommend that you use the government specifications standards detailed on their website when ordering PPE and request the CE Mark and EN Certification before ordering. You are responsible for making sure the packs you buy are correct for your business and not the county council.
• Ensure certification provided by suppliers is legitimate as unfortunately there are counterfeit certifications in circulation.
