The wellbeing of staff can be supported in several ways, ensuring they are valued and supported.
Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service
The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service is a team of NHS professionals trained to specialize in offering effective, evidence-based treatments for a wide range of common problems that affect most of us at some point in our lives.
They specialize in all symptoms of anxiety, and low mood (depression), but also deliver physical rehabilitation programmes for physical conditions, and help people to live better with long term physical conditions.
They treat both emotional and physical symptoms together – because people all experience both in our lives. The team is made up of Wellbeing Practitioners, Nurse Therapists, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, and Counsellors.
They offer a range of therapies such as:
- Cognitive behavioural therapy
- Interpersonal therapy
- Physical rehabilitation programmes
- Couples therapy
- Guided self-help

VivUp provide access discounts and benefits, made available to Commissioned Social Care Providers through the Local Authority registration to the scheme.

Blue Light Card provides those in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector and armed forces with discounts online and in-store. Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub
The staff psychological wellbeing hub is open to all members of the NHS and social care workforce employed by organisations in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
We recognise that the intensity of work during the pandemic has taken its toll on the health and wellbeing of the local workforce. Supporting the psychological wellbeing of our people is something that has never been more important.
