If you want to publicise an event in your area to a massive audience Staffordshire county council is giving you the tools to help.
A new on-line 24/7 guide to events taking place throughout the county has been introduced to www.staffordshire.gov.uk
And what's more the way the guide is set up means anyone can advertise an event - all they have to do is register.
County Council Leader John Taylor said: "The calendar is available for all residents and all employees to use, so if you have an event that you want people to know about, then advertise it here. From craft fairs, to sporting events you can find out listings for every possible event in this easy to use on-line calendar.
He added: "www.staffordshire.gov.uk currently has over 300,000 visitors each month and the guide will now be a permanent fixture on the homepage so it's opening up a whole new world of advertising for local events. But the success of the guide is largely dependant on how many listings we have and how up to date it is so the more people that use it to list their events, the better it will be."
To advertise, users just need to register providing some contact information and agree to the county council's information security policy.
Events can be categorised according to what they are, for example, sports, meetings, music and festivals, fates and fairs, etc. And if there isn't a suitable category for your event or you want further information, please contact webmaster@staffordshire.gov.uk
