In addition to the Staffordshire Local Community Fund there are a variety of other sources of funding available to groups and organisations.
Stronger & Safer Communities External Funding Information
This paper was established internally to highlight potential funding sources that contribute towards the priorities contained within the Stronger, Safer & Cohesive Communities block of Staffordshire's Local Area Agreement. Priorities include:

Reducing crime and the fear of crime

Reducing the harm caused by drugs and alcohol

Addressing domestic violence

Reducing anti-social behaviour and youth crime

Staffordshire County Council Funding Sources
These are internal pots of funding that are available to third sector organisations.

Lottery funding
For every £1 that the public spends on Lottery tickets 28 pence goes to Lottery good causes. This funding is channelled through the following lottery distributors for allocating to local community projects:
- Arts Council England - provide grants towards local, regional and national arts projects
- Awards for All - this is a small grants programme aimed at local communities
- Big Lottery Fund - provides medium to large grants for improving communities and the lives of those most in need
- Heritage Lottery Fund - provide grants to conserve heritage for present and future generations to experience and enjoy; help more people to take an active part and learn about their heritage.
- Sport England - invests in projects that help people to start, stay and succeed in sport and physical activity at every level.

Staffordshire Consortium of Infrastructure Organisations (SCIO)
Staffordshire Consortium of Infrastructure Organisations (SCIO) is made up of 12 third sector infrastructure organisations operating across the entire geographic area of Staffordshire. These include eight Council's for Voluntary Services (CVS), Community Council of Staffordshire, East Staffordshire Racial Equality Council, Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services and Saltbox.
