Safer & Stronger Communities

We work in conjunction with our partners to carry out community safety research across Staffordshire.  Work includes bringing together a wide variety of community safety information from a range of sources to provide partners with a holistic picture of community safety in Staffordshire.  The information is used primarily by the Community Safety Partnerships (otherwise known as Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships) across Staffordshire, as well as Staffordshire Police, Fire and Rescue Service, County Council and other partners. 

Community safety research at the county council is funded jointly by the county council, Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. 

Within this section you will find data and information about community safety within Staffordshire helping to paint a picture of the issues affecting local people. 

Much of the information is focused on the District Councils and County Council Community Safety Strategy and it will also fit in with the Local Area Agreement.
