District Profiles (2007)

The Audit Commission have developed the concept of Area Profiles as a tool for measuring the quality of life and availability of local services in an area.

These profiles have been developed by taking into account the components that the Audit Commission recommend when developing profiles.

The profiles offer a comprehensive analysis of the quality of life themes. The relationship between these quality of life themes and the components of local area profiles will be developed further as information becomes available and knowledge is increased.
