My county council logoLooking after over 13,500 acres of Staffordshire countryside

From Country Parks to farms, Greenways and Picnic areas, Staffordshire County Council helps everyone to have the time and space to relax and recuperate from the fast pace of modern life.

We live and work in a County that is largely countryside, but if you thought that it looked after itself you'd be very wrong.

The County Council is responsible for thousands of acres of country parks across Staffordshire and including around 2,500 miles of public rights of way - most of them rural footpaths.

Protecting the countryside on your doorstep...

Our highly qualified Ranger service involves local people in protecting and enjoying their local countryside through a range of community based initiatives across the county.
